“Okay, when are you going to forgive him?” Maddie asks, giving me a fierce look.

Maddie and I are lying on my tiny bed, in my room. It's been almost a month since Jayden returned, and I’ve been ignoring him.

Before you judge me, he hurt me badly, and I’m not having it easy on him.
