My besties listened as I relayed the event of the evening to them. Anne had a horror look on her face, and Maddie's was twisted with worry.

“Where did you meet Uriel?” Maddie asked. It just dawned on me that I had never told my besties about Uriel, but Jayden knew every detail.

“I met him when I was in California”.
