Jovita's POV

I woke up in a strange room, with high ceilings that held dangling chandeliers. I turned to my side to take in my surroundings. The room was painted white and everything else in it. From the soft king-sized bed, I was lying on, to the closet, curtains, tables, armchairs and many other things that lay around the room.

I rubbed my head trying to figure out where I was, and what was happening when I heard my father's familiar voice outside the door, and then the click of his shoes on the white malleable floor.
