It was excruciating, but I pulled my body on top of hers, shielding her against the cold. She was soft and fragile.

I felt her body stiffen against mine, and I smiled. She was trying her best not to think so I couldn't tell what was going through her head, I could guess at least, from the feel of her taut nipple against my chest, and her rapid heartbeat.

I leaned forward and placed a kiss on her forehead.
