I open my eyes as a bucket of ice-cold water splashes on my upper body. My body is very weak, from my flesh being torn open, and being healed numerous times. I’m in a large, dark, cold room, bonded to an iron chair.

I can’t comprehend what’s happening. The last thing I remember is chasing a vampire and getting knocked out, now I’m here, bonded with chains. Silver chains. Silver is a fatal weapon against werewolves. Silver’s effectiveness is that its silver nitrate is highly soluble and can dissolve into a werewolf's bloodstream, carrying the silver throughout its body and killing it.

Whoever bonded me in these chains...
