Angela walked away and immediately got into the elevator that led to the parking lot. Every minute in the company brought back painful memories making her clench her fist and chant, THEN I WAS WEAK but now I'M STRONG.

Shirley who just happened to hear these words coming out of her boss's mouth was flaggerbasted. She pretended not to hear and immediately followed behind Angela while trying to keep a straight face which wasn't an easy feat because Angela didn't stop chanting those words.
