Chapter 5 Met With Alpha Raymond Fireheart

Chapter 5 Met With Alpha Raymond Fireheart

POV: Allison

When I inherited the estates, he wanted me to change the documents to his name. He wanted it done quickly, and I gladly accepted to do it before he was my husband and Alpha. I would do anything to please him. But there was a problem, I couldn't get it done without a lawyer. The only lawyer I knew was Martin, and he would never have allowed me to change those documents to Williams' name.

Besides, I couldn't even go to him because Williams warned me to stay away from them, as he saw them as rogues. It would piss him off if I were seen speaking with a rogue. I had to get a new lawyer, so I needed to find time to go to the courthouse, but I was too busy at work. So, I had my secretary print out fake documents for me, and I gave them to Williams in hopes that when I finally got the original documents, I would secretly switch them without his knowledge.

Well, turns out that was the best decision I ever made. The original documents were never changed. And as I stood in front of my lawyer and the real estate agent, I felt proud of myself for making one good decision while married to Alpha Williams. I would love to see the look on his face when he realizes that he has been played. I would love to see the look on Ariana's face when she finds out that I'd outsmarted her this time.

"I did it, guys, I corrected my mistake. Now, I think I'm ready to meet Alpha Ray. Make it happen, Martin, I have something he would love to see. I can help him snatch a billion-dollar contract right out of Williams' hands," I let out excitedly. They both looked at each other and smiled, looking suspicious.

"I think I know how to track down my boss. I'm friends with his PA, Chris. If you want, I can call him to find out where we can find Alpha Ray. But we need to make sure what you have to show him is as important as you say. He would be so pissed if we wasted his time," she warned.

"Trust me, Mira, he would love this deal," I affirmed, smirking evilly to myself. She smiled brightly, almost too excited if you ask me.

"Are you calling Chris because of Allie, or is this an excuse to hear his voice?" her brother teased, confirming my suspicion. She blushed hard and smacked his head playfully, telling him to mind his damn business. I chuckled at their playfulness, admiring their bond. If only Ariana and I shared the same bond.

"Ohh, that's so sad," she spoke into her phone, looking sad.

"Do you think he would be open to discussing business in that mood?" she asked again, looking serious for a bit. Then she smiled and hung up, making me feel a bit hopeful.

"Alpha Ray lost something very important, and he is not too happy about it. But he will be at his private club tonight, and Chris can get us inside. In his words, he said, ‘Alpha Ray is never too busy when it comes to matters relating to Alpha Williams.'" She scoffed. I could only imagine what he did to piss this guy off.

"So, are you coming with me?" I asked her, giving her a knowing look.

"No, not you too!" she cried out in frustration, making Martin and me chuckle at her denial. She likes this Chris guy; it's written all over her face. I didn't tease her further. I let her be when I noticed that she didn't want to talk about it. It was already evening, and despite everything I went through this morning, I found strength to carry on and complete this mission. It feels so good to know that I can hurt them as much as they hurt me. I am determined to bring vengeance to their doorstep no matter what it takes.

"Do you have something to wear tonight? It's a private club, Allie. And even with Christopher's influence, we still won't get in if we don't look the part," she told me, holding up a white dress to my face.

"What's this for?" I asked as I viewed the dress, loving how it felt in my hand. It's an exquisite white chiffon maxi dress that is designed to create an air of sophistication and allure. Crafted with a delicate, yet strong fabric, it provides the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. I love it, I really do.

"I think this would look really good on you, Allie. It's the kind of outfit you wear in Alpha Ray's private club, and I believe this would make you stand out," she told me, smiling warmly as I viewed the outfit and stared at her in shock.

"It's just a meeting, Mira. This looks like an open invitation to every man in the club. I might as well wear a ‘fuck me' sign on my forehead," I laughed as I saw the plunging V-neckline that would give a good view of my boobs. It's been so long since I dressed this sexy; will it be worth it?

"That's why it's a private club, girl. You can go in stark naked and still have all the privacy you desire. Besides, Chris will be there, and so will the Alpha. We just have to look the part so we don't get bounced at the entrance. You can put on a jacket once we're inside," she added, making it look normal and easy. I picked up the dress again, admiring it.

I guess it wouldn't be bad to have a little fun after my meeting with the Alpha tonight. After all, I'm divorced. If Williams is out there celebrating our divorce with my sister warming his bed, then why the hell am I holding back?

"Fine, I'll wear the damn gown. But don't forget to grab me a jacket!" I warned, earning a peel of laughter.

"Get a good realtor and put up the estates and the farmhouse for sale. I want them gone as soon as possible," I told Martin as I stepped out of the guest room in my white dress.

The dress falls to mid-calf length, providing coverage while still allowing the chiffon fabric to billow gently with every movement. I put on red stilettos and a matching red clutch purse. I applied a light, yet shimmering makeup look with a soft pink lipstick to complete the look. I wore simple, dainty earrings to finish the ensemble and create the perfect balance between sexiness and elegance.

"You look breathtaking," Martin let out in shock the moment he set his eyes on me. Mira also stared at me in surprise. It was as if they were just seeing me for the very first time in their lives.

"There is something different about you…" she commented.

"I guess I'm just excited to dish out this cold plate of revenge to Williams and Ariana," I confessed, earning their soft laughter.

"While we're at it, I think I know the perfect person to buy those estates from you. This is getting more interesting," Martin told me as we arrived at the club. I didn't need to ask too many questions; I trust him with this task.

"That's Chris! Follow my lead," Mira told me, smiling excitedly. I spotted the guy as she walked toward him. Damn, he's so fine. Now I know why she is drooling like a schoolgirl at the mention of his name. He's such a catch, so cute and well-structured. He offered a little smile when he looked at me, and I nodded in his direction, watching him hug Mira and share a handshake with Martin.

"Ray is in a bad mood and he may leave here any minute. I suggest you meet him now and please do not disappoint me. Try not to get on his last nerve, or it'll be my head on the spike," he warned us, leading us to a private booth upstairs. The moment he pushed open the door, I was hit with that familiar scent I'd picked up from Mira when she came to see me at the hospital just this morning. I picked up the same scent from Chris at the entrance, but it was faint.

Now I know where the scent came from. It's from the Alpha, Raymond Fireheart. My eyes met his the moment I was hit with that scent, and at that very moment, I felt the babies in my womb for the very first time. It feels strange because it was too early to feel the babies moving. It feels even weirder when his eyes landed on my stomach the moment the babies moved, as if he felt them too.

"Come here," he ordered me, his eyes fixed on mine.
