I walked out of Gertrude clutching onto the bottle. I didn't know what to make of it, and I couldn't convince myself of the obvious, hence why I went to Gertrude to talk some sense into her. But even that didn't work because I was still in denial.
She was my best friend, and there was no way she would do what Gertrude was insinuating.
