"You!" he growled. Before he could say another word, Hayden moved over with the speed of lightning, grabbed him by the neck, and suspended him on the wall. 

Darius groaned, making incoherent noises as Hayden applied pressure on his neck.

I just stood there bewildered at first but soon started, enjoying the view and the drama unfolding. 

"You dare not disrespect my mate," he barked at Darius, who was already raising both hands in submission since his neck was of no use at the moment.
