The twins looked at Zach across the conference table and their expressions changed immediately. Sandy stepped closer to my leg while Brian reached for my hand, both scared to death by the sight of a man they had always known as dad.

Zach pushed back his chair and stood, his eyes fixed on me with a fury so concentrated it was almost impressive.
