The words were still vibrating through the air when Leo stood, lifting me with him, my legs wrapping around his waist on instinct. He carried me to the bed in three long strides and laid me down with a deliberateness that made my breath catch.
"On your stomach," he said. Not a suggestion.
I rolled over, pressing my cheek into the cool sheets. Behind me, I heard the whisper of fabric, his trousers hitting the floor, the drawer opening, the tear of a foil wrapper. The mattress dipped as he climbed onto it, his knees settling on either side of my hips.
