Even though he shouted that, I kept running from the Alpha. At that moment, I crossed paths with Mr. Moris and nearly bumped into him in the hallway. The tray in my hands wobbled, but I managed to steady it again, saving myself from another unnecessary mess. His eyes blinked as he saw me, and I averted my gaze. 

I went to the kitchen with ragged breath. After gulping down a glass of mineral water until it was empty, I let out a deep sigh. Tonight was clearly not my lucky night. My body trembled in the corner of the kitchen.
