Lena snapped out of her imaginations as her fingers tightened around her purse as she stood in front of Grayson’s desk. The weight of his cold stare pressed down on her, making it harder to breathe.
He didn’t speak right away.
Instead, he leaned back in his chair, watching her with those sharp blue eyes that once held warmth, but not anymore.
