Brielle's POV

I held her hands softly, whispering into her ears, "be more quiet. Don't inform your colleagues, please."

But she excitedly responded with loud voice, "it's goodness, madam Brielle!"

Everyone in the room looked towards my direction suddenly, expecting us to say a word so their suspicion would be confirmed.

"Just keep quiet." I mumbled to the leader but she turned to face her colleagues as she let them in on the news. It seemed every word I spoke did invert before reaching her ears. Why was she bent on doing the exact opposite of what I said?
