Dominic's POV

"We're so sorry. We didn't know..." The guards apologized as I sent them back to their spots. They had shone the light towards where we were.

"Is there anyone lurking around?" I asked one of them before they all left. He stared at Brielle, stared at the guard, then at Killian before staring back at me.

I was becoming pissed off by the attitude he gave but I remained quiet and didn't want to exercise aggression on him.

"No one lurking." He said but for some minutes, I assumed he was being forced to say that as though he was under duress by Brielle or the guard or...
