Evelyn’s P.O.V.

Walking through the dimly lightened tunnel stirred mixed emotions in my heart, the scenes of that night were swirling before my eyes.

“Dad?”

I called for my dad, as the silver chains were hanging freely. My dad’s misery had scarred my soul, my hurried steps took me to that cursed place in no time.

“Evelyn!”

My dad’s voice came out right after my call, I spun around frantically to search for him.

“Where are you, dad?”

My words were echoing in the empty concrete room, it seemed that my dad’s voice was coming from the adjacent room. He immediately instructed me.
