Lucius’ POV

I stood tall, surveying the grand entrance to the palace as the guest is on the way. Chadwick had gone earlier to scout and make necessary arrangements for his security and he now approaches.

“Alpha, Oren entourage arrives,” Chadwick announces, his wary expression visible on his face.

I nodded my head. “Ensure the guards are vigilant and positioned at their different posts. Oren and his mischief reputation precedes him. I don’t want any reports after he is done here.”

Chadwick nods and departs, going back to meet the guards.
