Raine's POV

Hiding behind the bush, I hesitated for a moment before stepping out. Seeing Lucius playing with that little boy, Robbie, had warmed my heart and given me the courage to approach him. I knew I had to tell him the truth. He deserved to know everything.

"It's me, Raine," I said, stepping into the open.

Lucius turned, his eyes widening in surprise. "Are you sure this isn't Elena? Why were you out there then?"

"I swear it's not Elena, it's me, Raine. I came because I need to speak with you," I pleaded.
