AKIRA POV

I opened the gate and was finally able to enter. My smile flashed on my lips again but it faded and was replaced by a frown as I looked at our house.

I wondered why the house was quiet. So silent. Gradually my heart beat faster as I went inside. When I entered, the only light that was on was dim. My forehead furrowed even more so quietly really. Where are the people here?
