Jason and I were just talking inside the glass cubicle in the first few minutes when the bidding resumed. The boss was not on sight and her assistant took charge. As expected, Mr. Samontino bid for me but as we had planned, I chose Jason. The old man was furious and demanded for the boss' presence but was instead escorted outside the establishment. I felt like a heavy object was lifted from my heart when I saw them dragging the old man away. Serves him right. I wouldn't want to be touched by him. Ever.
