Lawful Wife

Serena felt like she had become a boat rising up and down on the violent waves. Very soon, she hit a giant iceberg, or rather a volcano incredibly hot. Feeling his throat tightened, Jake gazed to turn lips and his eyes became darker. Serena, on the other hand, felt humiliated. If it were not for Lila, why would her face be ruined?

“Let go,” Serena wiggled and Jacob couldn't help drawing in his breath.

“Stop moving,” she cried. Serena snorted, “You need sex? Go find Lila. Sleeping with a woman as ugly as I am. You're just tasteless.”

As she said that, Serena suddenly melted into tears. For so many years, everyone was comparing her against Lila. She could never win. Lila was the princess in the palace, while she was dust on the floor. That was not a good feeling. Jake’s eyes became darker. He held her hands down and pushed himself against her.

“If I go to Lila, what do I need you, my lawful wife for?”

Serena became dazed and opened her eyes wide. Lawful wife? Jake looked at her expression and snorted in a cruel way, “The old man asked me to get married with you just to make us sleep together. You went through all the effort to drug me and now you are acting like this?”

“I didn't know,” Serena became mad.

Jake ignored her, squeezing her chin with two fingers and asked, “Do you know what lawful wife means?”
