Mara POV

I felt the presence of someone in my back since I was backing the door and I turned to the person. I was shocked and scared when I found out that it was Damon.

He was looking so dangerous and fierce and his eyes were dark.

"I'm very sorry, I don't mean to anger you.. I was just longing to read the book.. I'm very sorry" I said, bowing my head. I looked up and I found out that his eyes were softened.

"Apologies accepted but not fully... You can read the book only here and nowhere else and your punishment just increased" He replied.
