Kenji Yael drives fast in his car and even against his will, he has to reject the children.

He was also forced to lie to Shanbri. Kate called him because she wanted to meet for dinner.

That's why he doesn't agree to sleep at Shanbri's house because Kate comes to his condo and he might be surprised when he doesn't find Kenji Yael in his condo.
