After the movie I decided to go to bed. It was about an hour later, that the bed dipped and Maddy slid in next to me. I smiled at her. The moonlight lit up her face just enough that I could see the unsure smile she gave me. Frowning, I reached up and tuck some of her hair behind her ear, “What’s wrong?”

“Nothing,” she sighs and tries to roll away from me but, my hand shots out and wraps around her waist.
