“What’s wrong with you?” Cleo’s voice broke through my thoughts. I looked up from my phone that I had been staring at for I didn’t know how long.

“I’m wondering how much longer I am going to have to wait before I hear from Clark,” I tell her. I know I sound pathetic, and I am not even sure why I am waiting around for some guy.
