Nick is the one who received us at the border and we didn’t complain that Aiden didn’t personally came. I can’t imagine what he is going through right now. Ashira isn’t like me, not at all. She didn’t escape like I did, she was freaking kidnapped!

“How is Aiden doing?” Jacob asked Nick. Nick was seated at the back of the car and we’re on our way to the Ancestral to meet Jacob.

“Bad. Real bad. There’s a couple of hole in the wall, he’s out of it. For real.”
