Our mates went to the Prime pack building to do their thing. Ashira invites me to her room and I figured that Ash must be sleeping with Aiden on another room. Her scent was so faint inside it.

“My God! Your mate is so sweet! Scary but sweet.” I sighed dreamily. “I’m envious!”

Ashira continued to look at me the same way she does when I’m hiding something. This person was the only one who can read me clear.

“I hate that Jacob, Luce. What did he do to you? The last time you called, you’re crying your lungs out!”
