Bile rose in my throat as I stood frozen at the sight before me. Thanos stood tall, his presence menacing, flanked by five wolves with eyes that glowed in the dim moonlight. He was toying with us, drawing this out, knowing full well that Lucian was alone and outnumbered.

Lucian held his ground, his jaw clenched, but I could sense his unease. He was strong, but against Thanos and five of his wolves? He wouldn't last.
