After Varg left, I sat on the bed, my stomach feeling unusually heavy. I didn’t understand why it felt that way, but the weight was undeniable. Slowly, I rested my back against the pillows, trying to ease the discomfort. My hand instinctively moved to my stomach, patting it gently in hopes of calming both myself and the life growing within me.
