NALEDI’S POV

The trip back to the house was silent.

The silence was comfortable and everyone was in their heads, no doubt going over the events of the day. As soon as the car stopped, I stepped out of the car and made my way inside, right after telling them we’d meet tomorrow.

I made my way to the Alpha’s building and the first person I saw was Donna. She was seated on the sofa and I think I heard her weep. My eyes narrowed and I took small steps towards her, only for her to whip her head at me and her face turned stoic.
