I felt ashamed of myself. 

I had promised I would never be weak. I promised myself never to be the victim and I once again fucked up in keeping said promise. 

Two knocks came from the door but I didn’t bother answering. She would come in anyway. My new assistant - Korah. 

I didn’t like the idea of someone attending to me but I didn’t have much of a say in the matter. That bit was made abundantly clear to me by Matteo, who was now in charge of me, as per Alpha’s orders.
