I didn't think about Tobias Calloway after I left the auction.
At least, that's what I told myself.
I drove back to my apartment with Ethan asleep in the back seat, his little head tilted against the window, one hand still wrapped around the toy car he'd carried into the ballroom.
I watched him through the rearview mirror.

My chest tightened.
