All the noises were loud, yet the people were so far away. My head hurt and I couldn’t open my eyes or my mouth.

I felt myself being lifted from the ground.

“Katherine, please stay with me!”

The screams did not help how my head hurt.

Being lifted by other people helped me understand that even my entire body hurt. The place where the wolf had taken a chunk out of my flesh stung more than anything in life.

It was all amplified and so much that I thought I felt even everyone’s emotion.
