"Katherine!"

I turned abruptly at the sound of my name.

"Dorcas, what are you doing here?"

"I came as fast as I could, I have news."

Of course she had news, Dorcas always knew how to make a dramatic entrance at everything.

"What news is it this time, Jade And I did what you asked us to," I said blankly.

I suspected the news was nowhere near good, whenever she barged in with the kind of look on her face it was never good news.

"I know how to break your curse permanently," she shrieked. “Sex only subdues it.”
