I never believed I would be this happy surrounded by these people. They did not give the best first impression when I arrived a few months ago, but after spending a while with them, they began to see me as one of them. 

I sat on the floor of Lily’s room, surrounded by her artwork, and a feeling of gratitude washed over me. I couldn’t help but think about how fortunate I was to have such wonderful people in my life, even though things hadn’t always started that way.

As I admired Lily’s paintings, I couldn’t help but reflect on how the moon goddess had brought me here...
