AT THE HOSPITAL

A searing pain shot through her body. It was unbearable. She tried to open her eyes but couldn't. Her eyelids felt hot and heavy.

She heard muffled voices as she stirred on the bed. Sometimes, the voices sounded loud and clear and at a time it softened, confusing her.

"Ivy...open your eyes" She could hear faint voices.

After a long while, she slowly opened her eyes and found herself laying in a hospital. Her eyes widened in horror.

She shut them again and try recalling what had happened.

She gasped out.

"Ivy you're awake"

She heard a familiar voice and soon realized it was her sister....
