Insolent hubby calling...

"Hey? Have you reached the hospital?" I asked right after picking the call up.

He's now at the hospital where my mother was rushed into. I can't believe he will do this effort just to put me to rest and not bother to go.

"Yes, I've already paid the bills. Your siblings, where are they?" he asked.

"They're at the chapel, find them, and uhm... Can you please let us meet? Not here at your condo to protect your confidential life, we'll take the nearest hotel instead," I said.

"No, you don't have to get up. Just rest at my condo and wait for me...
