Tonya POV

Dakota leaves early for work. I kiss him at the door and send him on his way to the resort for the day.

“I will see you tonight unless you have plans?” Dakota asks as he exits the beach house.

“Of course, love, I will see you tonight,” I say to him.

I close the door. I go into the kitchen to make breakfast for Melanie. I take out the pancake mix and start making her pancakes when there is a knock on the door. I am not expecting anyone but her this morning.

I wrap my robe around me a little tighter and go to the door....
