I could see the happiness on his face.

I wondered if he genuinely wanted this marriage or if he was only doing it because of his mother.

I couldn’t really tell.

But he certainly looked happy.

“Aurora, thank you for accepting. You have no idea how much this means to me. Honestly, I don’t know what I would’ve done if you had rejected me,” he said.

To my surprise, he pulled me into a hug.

For a moment, I was speechless.
