She would not stop crying, and it was beginning to test my patience. I had no idea how to calm her down. I tried playing with her, but it only seemed to make things worse.

I knew very little about children because I had never enjoyed being around them. But this time, I had no choice. I had to protect this innocent child from Monty and her dangerous plans.

I had warned Monty about this, but she refused to listen. She was so determined to get Clark back that she failed to consider the consequences. By now, Clark and Aurora would probably believe Tiara was dead.
