Finally, the heap of hay and the smell of horses gave away the dilapidated building.
Raya rushed inside, with a simple goal to grab her horse and get the hell out of there. It didn't take much time as her eyes locked with Silver's. She felt feverish just from one glance.
Unlike the other horses that were fast asleep, Silver was standing tall, almost like he was waiting for her all this time.
The feeling of guilt drowned her. Raya felt bad that she hadn't come to see him earlier. Even before settling in, she should have at least checked on him.
