“Raya! Open up. It's me, Leo.”

Raya froze as his screaming voice and the loud thud on the door pulled her from her thoughts.

Oh, no. Why did he have to follow her? The last thing she wanted was Leo’s concerned face in front of her.

She rushed to the door, pushing back the scattered hair from her face as she pulled it open.

“Is everything alright?” Leo pushed in immediately, inhaling the feminine scent in her room.

“Back there, I think you said the right thing, Raya. You don't have to go looking for anyone, especially when he doesn't deserve it.”
