I stared down at the documents on my desk, my brows slowly furrowing as the words began to blur together. A dull, familiar throb pushed its way through my skull.
Another headache.
I sighed sharply and removed the glasses perched on my nose, setting them down on the desk. I leaned back in my chair and pressed my fingers to my temples.
The office was dark, and empty. I couldn’t help but smirk.
