BELLE'S P.O.V

I talked to Joanna and told her that I would not be needing a maid anymore. But she doesn't have to worry because I will give her a letter of recommendation so she will be able to apply to another noble family if she wants.

She doesn't want to go at first. She keeps saying things like this and that, but I don't know what to say since I am not the one who promised her anything when she was given this job.

I felt guilty for letting her go, but I didn't really have a choice since I didn't know her origin. Also, I didn't want anybody...
