chapter 20: Victory

Hazel's point of view.

Upon entering the conference room I noticed the change in the atmosphere. Liam stood near his chair and greeted me with an evil look, not just bad if not so bad that I hadn’t seen it before.

"What were you doing in the restroom Hazel?" Liam asked me as if holding back his anger.

"What kind of question is that?" I also asked back obviously confused.

"Maybe I didn't make myself clear." he slowly approached my direction and spoke again. "Tell me, what have you done to Lexi?"

He was the first to attack me, he was the only one who threatened me...
