Chapter twenty two

The pairs of eyes were fixed on Miss Maria and it gave her goosebumps. Lian, Marlin and Shane all sat on armchairs that were inches apart from each other and faced Miss Maria who sat on the opposite side, with her hands clasped together on her laps.

Lian sighed before starting the interrogation. "Miss Maria, you're about to be questioned and I won't take it with levity if you reply with anything apart from the truth." He warned beforehand, showing no emotions.

Miss Maria nodded gently in agreement to what he said. "Ask me anything alpha."

"I'll go first." Marlin announced and straightened up in the chair...
