Monroe's [P.O.V]

I hear my name being called from afar.

"Please wake up, I can't bear it… if you don't kill me, they will use my gift to destroy all that your father has built and take the armor that upholds our pack… I heal you with my blood." I see my mum crying in a blurry sight till my eyes fully see her as she holds me bent down.

Once I jerked back into life, I could see that she had used her magic to heal me.

I quickly grabbed my dagger by my left to stab my heart just for her to turn it into red roses.

Which the wind from the broken wall carried towards the shield... passing through the shield to where the demon witches were.

"Now they know that I am here… Son, forgive me and yourself for whatever happens today, and also don't forget to take care and love your junior brother kelvin." She said as she leaned out of me walking to the edge of the corridor while I kneeled before her… looking at my beautiful mother.

I could hear the witches possessed by demons enchanting to use her to their aid.

"Mum! What are you doing?" Kelvin, my younger brother asked in shock as he walked in.

She looks at him with her eyes glowing white as he maintains concentration in her eyes.

I knew who had taken over now.

Demons.

"Sabrina the cursed Grand witch… With our blood, you drank… Mote the deal!" The demons enchanting outside the shield said till they had finally broken into her heart since she had been poisoned with their blood by an inside betrayal.

She turns facing the shield outside and the elders who were down the gates using their last energies to keep the shield to protect the pack.

But from behind her head was a demon's face appearing with its long nose, dark greenish hands, and supportive legs that lifted her human legs from the floor into the air.

"Mum!" Kelvin called getting panicked as he saw the demon taking over her back.

Her long black hair stands in the air and then forms the black witch's hat over her head.

My brother's wolf gets upset rushing to fight the demon only to get lightning fired at him.

She jumped down from the top corridor landing like a demon at the mansion's floor and I rushed towards where she stood before looking down to see her striking off the pack rogues.

Powerful rogues who stood in respect to who she was as she killed them one by one.

I jumped back from the corridor of the mansion towards where everyone stood in their large numbers as they were getting killed speedily.

"Don't stand still… She is possessed! Shield yourselves!" I screamed and all the rogues' held hands as a powerful force began to exist out of their powers while they were enchanting.

"Good!" I said just to see that the demon using my mum's body headed towards where the elder councilmen were and it used her powers to crack the necks of the councilmen.

killing them and blasting most into pieces… With its hands bringing out long thick sharp swords that it used to cut off most of their heads.

I used my dagger slicing through my hand as I poured my blood over the demon's face and my mum came back to normal.

"End it, son, you must!" she says with a sorrowful voice just before the demon takes over her body again and jumps into the shield.

I shouted in tears as I saw what the power of the shield did to her as the energy went through her body with the demon crying as well.

And when I thought she and the demon in her had been killed by the shield force… I sensed anger.

I looked through the shield as silence reigned with the eyes of the demons outside turning red.

All red with the rage of Anger.

The demon witches all held hands enchanting a prayer and my mum woke up with the demon in her screaming in pain as lightning storms out of her killing all the council elders.

Including me.

I opened my eyes seeing the shield going down.

But I was flying now… All covered in Armor.

The Armor of my father.

"You are the senior, so you need it to keep me safe right?" Kelvin asked in tears as he let the magically floating head protector of the armor to me and tears filled my eyes.

He always wanted to be the first to put on the armor of our father.

But now I understand what I must do.

"I accept to uphold the armor of my bloodline," I said as the head protector sits over my head.

I was trained for this… All my life.

I rushed together with my brother and the army of werewolves and vampires as they attacked the demons, defending my father's pack.

I Killed a lot and the leading demon in my mum came for me with my brother fighting others by the side… he was also a good fighter.

I fought with her beating the demon but with carefulness so as not to hurt my mother.

More Demons rushed to fight me and I used my both arms to protect myself from their magic only for a force to blast out from my hand hitting them away like a bomb blast explosion.

I did it again.

The demon in my mum began to come out crying.

With Anger, I grabbed her by the neck raising her into the air.

Using my right hand, I hit my right hand over my left hand as I kept her into the air.

Sad as I held her by the neck.

I needed to be careful of the demon attached to her.

The demon disappears and my mum's eyes open looking at me.

"Son, It's the curse." I hear her say.

"They want the armor for immortality, you must never give them." She says as the demon fights me from choking her in the air.

"I bless you, for this armor, I have made, will forever be yours and you shall find love as you have always loved me in someone that will love you as much as I have too… A mate" she says, choking from my grip and in tears.

"Now Kill me to break the curse, you have to Monroe." She says as she uses her hand forming a dagger in my hand with her eyes flickering back to that of the demon and her skin turning dark greenish.

The demon was trying to envelop her whole body.

Tears filled my eyes as I stabbed her with the dagger, seeing a smile over her face.

It went through her heart and I placed her into my arms speedily but weakly as I fell onto my knees.

All the demons began to scream in anger and vanish, including the one in her.

I held her to my chest as I watched Kelvin staring at me with his lips apart in shock.

"No! you didn't just kill mum… no!" he cried, staring at me and I cried with my tears rolling off my eyes back in return as I held her to myself crying and screaming into her neck.

I took out the dagger and the moon spirit took her whole body from my arms.

The dagger burned off and I knew she was gone for good.

"All hail alpha Monroe." I hear the last surviving council elder saying as he bows to me dying from the different demon arrows that were all over his back and the rest of the pack members went on their bowing positions at the war ground as well.

My brother tried to stand still and I watched him seeing as he could not fight the grand alpha energy spreading everywhere from me which caused him to transform into his wolf form bowing to me in forceful submission.

I had no choice but to kill the only person I loved.

I can only hope her blessings for me to find a mate to love happens to me soon.

To heal me and free my hardened heart.
