5:30 am ...

I laid quietly in bed as I rubbed my stomach slowly.

"Baby, we'll finally be with daddy today for better and for worse"

"We can finally be together as a real family!"

"Are you excited?! Because I am!" I whispered.

"Wake up! Wake up!" Layla yelled , bursting into the room.

" Sweetheart it's your big day" she added .

"You know I'm awake , there's no need to shout" I rolled my eyes and she laughed.

"Well, I loved the dramatic entrance " she replied.
