"Mabel!" I heard Layla call and I stopped in my tracks. It took me all that was in me not to break into tears earlier.

I took in a deep breath and exhaled slowly as I turned back to them with a smile.

She pushed her chair back a little and ran towards me , immediately she got to me , she pulled me into a tight hug.
