Soraya's Pov

My reflection looked the same as always, my long black hair that was kind of messy, blue eyes that looked tired, pale skin because I spent most of my life indoors. I looked like a normal nineteen year old girl. I didn't look like someone with a monster trapped inside them.

But maybe that was the point. Maybe monsters didn't always look like monsters on the outside. Maybe they looked normal until something triggered them and then the monster came out and destroyed everything.

Was that what I was? A monster waiting to happen?
